CW-16B Coil Winder

Model CW-16 is a high speed bobbin winder that uses a computer interface to do the winding operation. It offers similar performance features to the CW-15 Model:

        Model CW-16 will wind coils as large as 6"O.D. (Bigger if required) but longer and bigger coils are available on special order. The length of coil wound on this model ranges from 9" to longer than 72"., depending on the application.

       Winding verstility: Model CW-16 coil winder can be custom made for Medical Winding applications, precision wound bobbins, self-standing coils for relays, solenoids, memory heads, sensors, meters, transformers, voice coils, heating elements, field coils, Catheter Wire Guides, R&D, and many more custom made winding applications.

 Wire Range: The basic machine handles wire sizes from 14-55 AWG, contact us for spacial wire or material.

Wire Lay: The wire guide carriage advances from settings as low as 0.00025" per turn to as high as 0.787" per turn at high precision.

Motor Speed: Winding speed is continuously variable to 6,000 turns per-minute. The motor can be configured for high torque low speed winding.

CW-16: The CW-16 Model has many available options that can be configured that meet your specific winding needs. It has the many options to select from, from tensions to tailstocks, driven and non-driven tailstock, double to single tensioner, custom tooling with many more options to choose from.
