Winding Solutions That Work For Your Business

Accuwinder Engineering Company offers custom made coil winding systems that interfaces a computer to the newest custom made models CW-15 and CW-16 ACCUWINDERS. The coil winders are operated and controlled by an industrial mini ITX-computer running Accuwinder software for precision control.Our Winding system uses a microprocessor based interface that takes information from the Accuwinder Software on the personal computer, processes it and passes it along to the coil winder. This controls total turns count, deceleration turns count, pitch, spindle speed and the other functions as may be wanted.

    Setup is fast, usually less than a minute to change wire, set turns, speed and pitch. Being a numerical controlled machine, settings for a particular coil may be recorded and repeated exactly at any further date. 

   The user friendly computer offers not only a history of the wind operation but the ability to change speed, traverse, turns, count, and decel at any time during the winding mode. You can wind with or without traverse; you can traverse with or without winding. After a wind, a command to traverse home to start the next wind cycle is an option. You control if you want to wind limit to limit or wind a set amount of turns right or left (Counter clock wise or Clockwise). Being a PC, a flash drive may be used to back up the wind programs created.
