Our Accuwinder Model CW-15 is a compact accurate, high speed bobbin winder that uses numerical control to provide setup repeatability without dependence on operator skill. It offers performance features needed by modern coil winding operations: absolute turns count accuracy, wire lay at all speeds without end buildup, microcomputer-controlled step motor driving threadless lead screw for precision traverse and pitch control, consistent wire tension controlled, high-speed light wire capability, micrometer adjustment of traverse length, regulated spindle acceleration and deceleration, and fast job change-over. 

Model CW-15 Coil Winder

 Length of Winding : You can wind coils up to 3" long and set winding length to .0005" accuracy with micrometer adjustment for both left and right stops. The Accuwinder CW-15 winds coils as large as 3" O.D.

Broad Wire Range : The basic machine handles wire sizes from 20-55 AWG.

Accurate Turns Count : You will get pin-point accuracy. The spindle always stops within the same 15 degree arc, regardless of winding speed or number of turns.

Even Wire Lay : The step motor driven, threadless lead screw used to transport the wire guide carriage advances from settings as low as 0.00025" per turn and reverses in a fraction of a turn to as high as 0.0787" per turn and reverses to a fraction of a turn. This precision provides even wire lay from one end of your coil to the other and eliminates the end build up inherent in other systems.

High Speed : Winding speed is continuously variable tp 6,000 turns per-minute.

Winding Versatility : You can wind all types of precision wound bobbins and self-standing coils for relays, solenoids, memory heads, sensors, meters, transformers, voice coils, and any custom winding meting the winding requirements.
